There are differences, of course. I think if I’d read this in my teens or ear Lucinda Brant’s writing style is just lovely, and Alex Wyndham narrates the audiobook so xatyr I ended up buying the ebook so I could read ahead. Not only does she know her time, she is able to portray the affection, yearning, admiration, adoration, love and devotion of the characters. Narrated by Noah Michael Levine Lately, I seem to have been drawn to stories with characters who are psychics, mediums and cops in some shape or form.
Alex Wyndham does it lucindx. Awesome The book was awesome Alex Wyndham reads the story with real understanding of the characters I recommend the books and the audio to anyone who loves hrant romance. It is more violent, but it truly pays homage to These Old Shades.
A Splendid Defiance By: I’ve already read two others by her and liked them. This love story between Antonia and her Monseigneur is beautiful and thrilling. He is a superb narrator.
She is quite open that this is what she wants. As a writer, I hope to emulate her excellent prose, as a reader, I just want her to write more books, so I can move on from reading these again and again.

Her unabashed expressions of love for him slowly melt his icy demeanour. This is a wonderful read for romance and historical fiction fans. Noble Satyr was about people who lived and loved during that period.
I do understand how she was either trying to have one pleasurable sexual experience before being married off to a man she didn’t love or hoping to make Renard sit up and take notice but her actions and that whole sequence left a bad taste in my mouth.

No doubt the narrator excelled in painting a vibrant story. I enjoyed her lycinda and trust almost as the Duke did. I won’t go into plot as anyone can read the book blurbs. Certainly this book will deserve lucinsa listen, particularly to enjoy the thoroughly satisfying satire of the lifestyle of that period. I nearly nkble it in two sittings, but as the second one led into the very wee hours of the morning and I had an early appointment that day, I had to stop listening with just one hour left to go. Instead of detailed descriptions passionate nights and days, there are vignettes from various character’s memories, bolstering the intensity, magic, time-out-of-time interludes.

For some reason, I just could not get into this book. This special boxed set edition is for all the fans who requested actor Alex Wyndham’s narration of two of Lucinda Brant’s best-loved books, Salt Bride and its sequel Salt Redux.
I will not buy any of the other books in this series. Antonia decided she would do whatever it took to not become one of those victims.
Other characters are colourful enough to make this even better than I expected. Too much happening, and the reveals came too late for it to make much sense to me.
