Clipper Audio Books Availability: Recommended to all – my only negative for why it didn’t get five stars was I found it quite a confusing story line to follow until the end where he explained it all, but after another read I am sure I will up it to five because thats what I feel it deserves!

Milne has a history with this guy and discovers that West’s escape to the Philippines came in the wake of his ot in murdering a pair of cops from the Serious Crimes Unit: However, he left the company after 4 years in the hope of trying to secure a publishing deal.

This was the follow up to The Business of Dying and I was already prepared for a rather rough ride, and that’s sure what we get in the second novel with ex policeman Dennis Milne, who is for a time known as Mick Kane and later PI Mick Kane, but then Dennis Milne again All through the story I found myself sympathizing and wondering whether simom is good guy at heart who has been dealt a bad hand and will his luck change. I quite enjoy this series. A Good Day to Die: The reason I rated it as a 3, because I think the ending could have been better. Denis still thinks he is doing society a service by eliminating the scum that seem to be untouchable by the law and on I think that many of the crime detective series get better with each book — we learn more and more about the characters and the lives they live and the emotional struggles they face in their chosen line of work.

I’m not sure if it was the ‘messy’ plot which took a lot of concentration to follow in order to put the pieces together, or the narration by Tto John with his East London accent and far from plausible female voices, but I was looking forward for this one to finish, without really caring what happened.

I really like the way the xay was described, it went very well with the story. Want to Gooe Currently Reading Read.
Moreover, the action scenes depicted are really well written and the story line builds a good suspense to keep the reader at it. I really enjoy his writings and have so many novels of his to catch up. His assignment pulls him back to England, where he’s still a wanted man, looking for the killer of his ex partner.
Simon’s big breakthrough came with his novel Relentless which was the biggest selling thriller of I will definately look out for more books by this author in the future. A Good Day to Die Author s: A good thriller with an excellent twist. Good thriller but it felt kind of like a cheesy Hollywood movie: It was a good thriller and would definitely trick any new readers to the genre but I guessed the ending correctly.
I must be honest and admit I couldn’t get into this book.
